I bought this kit last year and took my time building, May to September. The build was simple enough and the wings, with the jig from the box, were easy. Unfortunately they appeared to have adopted "wash in" on the jig. I was able to steam it out and give about 10mm "wash out" later. The fuselage is very narrow, leading to some head scratching ideas for servos/receiver/battery and all the wing wires - flaps and ailerons. Working out that the wings were held together with a carbon rod into two carbon friction boxes, one in each wing, was another head scratcher. Also, these boxes not strong enough to hold the wings tight in hot weather, leading to my fitting a small dowel to each leading edge root, to enable an elastic band retainer at the leading edge. The trailing edge appears ok. I have only been able to fly it in a breeze so far. I'd say 8 to 18mph and I have found it to be a little tricky to handle. It appears to have a tendency to tip stall, but I am working on it reducing differential passed -50%. As a finished model, I have solid covering on the balsa covered leading edge to the wings and the fuselage and transparent on the geodesic wing ribs. It looks spectacular and the other club members are either in awe and very complimentary or struck dumb. They didn't know I was that capable and they just buy, off the shelf, foamies! If you like a challenge, and who doesn't?, this could be for you!
