The Extreme Flight 88” Extra 260 represents a major step forward for the 70-76CC class of aerobatic RC aircraft.

Each aspect of this new airplane has been re-imagined and re-considered to maximize performance. The goal of the project is to give the pilot the experience of flying our 120CC Extra 260 aircraft, with all of that performance and stability, but in a smaller, less-expensive, and easier to transport package.

Success. The 88” Extra 260 delivers. Using a specially-tuned version of our Gen V aerodynamic package, Team Extreme tested multiple variations and iterations of this airframe for almost a year, zeroing-in on the perfect package.

Equip this plane with 5 top-quality servos (we recommend Savox 1280 or 2290) and a 70-76CC twin cylinder gas engine, and you have a world-class aerobatic machine. It flies string-straight lines effortlessly, it loves precision figures, it is incredibly easy to drive around in post-stall 3D, and when you’re ready, it’s soooo willing to fly insane XA.

It’s also an excellent choice for electric power. Use any 6KW class outrunner and 12S 5000-6000mah packs. It’s excellent. Packs end up in the middle of the tray for easy access.

The 88” includes carbon wing and stab tubes, carbon landing gear, carbon all over the airframe for incredible strength, ultracote covering, hand selected balsa and composite-reinforced ply, Du-Bro ball links, pre-hinged and gap-sealed surfaces, removable rudder, pre-installed control horns, pre-vented cowl, engine cooling duct, ball-link throttle linkage, clear cowl marking tool, pilot figure, cockpit floor and instrument panel, quick release wings and stabs, quick release canopy hatch with metal-on-metal dowel retainers, pre-finished exhaust tunnel with canister and tuned pipe mounts…it’s got it all.
