DESCRIPTION

The new Scirocco “XL” full-carbon is the enlarged and further developed version of our successful Scirocco “L” model, now even available in a full-carbon version!
At your request, we have developed here a larger version of our Scirocco.
With its 4.5m wingspan, it is much more suitable for thermals than its predecessors. The Scirocco XL full-carbon is a high performance glider model in modern GRP/CFRP shell construction with very high strength. The H-shaped main spar in sandwich construction made of Airex as support material with laminated carbon fiber fabric has been significantly reinforced. Suitable for the hobby pilot who is looking for an all-round glider with a focus on thermal flight, but still does not want to miss out on light aerobatics like rolls, loops, turns, etc. The elaborate shapely design allows as usual excellent attitude recognition. The wing connection from the center section to the outer surfaces is force-fitted and neatly done by CFRP square spar.

The model is available in two versions (ARF/PNP+) and is largely pre-assembled in the PNP+ version.
The Ro-Power Torque 4356 motor, ESC, spinner, Aeronaut propeller and the servos including wiring are pre-installed in the PNP+ version, so that the construction effort is reduced to a minimum. In the ARF version, you have the option to use individual RC components as you see fit.
