This model is a detailed scale replica of one of the most famous helicopters ever built, affectionately known as the ‘carpet beater’ due to its distinctive shape. The unmistakable appearance of this aviation icon makes the Marines Rescue model a must-have for all fans of scale RC helicopters. For a particularly easy introduction to the world of remote-controlled helicopters, the model has numerous support functions such as automatic take-off and landing, automatic stabilisation, an integrated barometer and other sensors that ensure a smooth and stable flight. The rotor head is flybarless, i.e. without a paddle bar, and is stabilised by a precise 6-axis gyro system that works reliably in all flight positions. For greater agility, a dual-rate function with different flight modes has been integrated, which can be conveniently switched via the remote control. A built-in low voltage protection monitors the battery status and automatically initiates a safe landing when the voltage is too low to protect the battery from deep discharge. The model is powered by a powerful brushless main motor in combination with a 7.4V LiPo battery, providing sufficient power for dynamic flight manoeuvres – even light 3D flight such as inverted flight is possible at the touch of a button.
