During the final years of the Vietnam War and in Operation Desert Storm, the Bronco excelled at anti-guerrilla operations, in air support, plus utility missions, and many are still in service today. The E-flite® Micro OV-10 is a replica of the unique twin aircraft that's scaled to be affordable and practical for more RC pilots to own and fly! It's compatible with popular 3S 600–850mAh batteries and is equipped with exclusive Spektrum™ AS3X® plus optional-use SAFE® Select technologies to make it the easiest to fly OV-10 model yet. Optional-use fixed landing gear with a steerable nose wheel makes it easy to taxi, take off from, and land on smooth surfaces, or you can leave the landing gear off for more speed and performance when flying over grass. The OV-10 Bronco is one of the most unique and recognizable twin-turboprop military aircraft of all time. Larger OV-10 models, including the popular Hangar 9 20cc and 30cc versions, may be out of reach for many RC pilots – but the E-flite® Micro OV-10 Bronco is sized to be affordable and practical for most! It arrives fully assembled and ready to fly right out of the box, including a factory-installed control unit featuring a Spektrum receiver equipped with exclusive AS3X® plus optional-use SAFE® Select technologies. It's ready to bind to your 5+ channel DSMX®/DSM2® equipped transmitter, plus you'll receive real-time telemetry data including overall battery voltage, current, and more – with Smart and non-Smart batteries – when using compatible Spektrum radios featuring AirWare software. The twin brushless outrunner motors, paired with counter-rotating propellers, are compatible with 3S 600–850mAh batteries, delivering an excellent blend of performance and flight time. The fully-moulded EPS airframe features more moulded-in and other scale details than most smaller UMX/ultra-micro class models, including optional-use guns, missiles, a drop tank, and a pitot tube. It's also equipped with plastic-reinforced nacelle and sponson bottoms plus composite reinforcements in the nose, booms, and throughout to make it strong and stiff while also keeping it lightweight. The expertly-engineered design makes it easy to fly in scale-like or sport fashion, and to perform aerobatics including loops, rolls, and inverted flight. Skill Level 3 – Intermediate Pilots (Experience Required)

Skill Level 3 aircraft, like this one, are suitable for RC pilots who already have experience with "Next Step" and beyond aircraft, plus the skills to assemble, set up and fly similar class models. And although this is the easiest to fly OV-10 Bronco model yet, it's not a suitable first-ever RC aircraft for new pilots. You should have the experience and skills necessary to successfully fly models like the E-flite UMX Timbers, UMX Twin Otter, Micro DRACO, Micro Scrappy or larger and twin models before attempting to fly the Micro OV-10 Bronco.

Already own a Spektrum transmitter? Bind-N-Fly (BNF) aircraft make getting into the air quickly and with the best control experience possible easier than ever. They come out of the box with the power system, servos and a Spektrum 2.4GHz receiver installed so all you need to do is bind the receiver to a compatible transmitter, finish any final assembly, and fly!

Exclusive Technologies

This is the first OV-10 Bronco model equipped with exclusive Spektrum AS3X and SAFE Select technologies. AS3X works behind the scenes to smooth out the effects of wind and turbulence to deliver a locked-in feel that makes it seem like you're flying a much larger airplane. Optional-use SAFE Select offers pitch and bank angle limits along with automatic self-leveling that can be turned on and off at the flip of a switch to make this an easier to fly OV-10. SAFE Select also features an automatic Hand Launch Assist mode that senses the force of a hand launch and adds up elevator so the airplane climbs at a higher angle for a few seconds to make it easier to launch.

Telemetry Capability

The Micro OV-10 Bronco is equipped with a control unit including a receiver and ESCs that provide a variety of real-time power system-related telemetry data including overall battery voltage, current draw, and more – when using Smart and non-Smart batteries – to compatible Spektrum AirWare equipped transmitters (including the DX6e and 8e, DX6 G2/G3 and 8 G2, the DX9, NX6 to 20, the iX12 to 20, and others) while you fly.

High Performance

The factory-installed twin brushless power system features powerful 3S-compatible outrunner motors equipped with counter-rotating props. This power system setup delivers great speed and vertical performance, plus flight times, when using the recommended 600–850mAh 30+C LiPo batteries with an IC2 connector.

Gear Options

You can use the included fixed landing gear – with a steerable nose wheel – to taxi, take off from, and land on smooth surfaces. Or fly without the landing gear installed for more speed and vertical performance while utilizing the automatic Hand Launch Assist Mode for easy hand launches over and landings on grass.
