In 2019, OMPHOBBY revolutionized the RC helicopter world with the first direct drive 3D helicopter, the M2 V1. This technology evolved throughout the M2 line and later redefined the 100-size class with the M1 series, ultimately paving the way for the hugely successful M2 V3 PRO. After its earth-shattering success, it became clear that the M1 line deserved the same... OMPHOBBY is incredibly proud to announce the new absolute benchmark in 100-size helicopter technology: M1 V3 PRO.
M1 V3 PRO is a purpose-built, highly optimized micro helicopter made for every possible flying styles. Where its predecessors set limits, M1 V3 PRO is built to keep going with more power, greater authority, superior stability, longer flight times and infinite confidence thanks to OFS3+, no matter what you throw at it. With a more than 10% lower flying weight of only 112g (including receiver, equivalent to 110g without receiver), M1 V3 PRO features the lightest disk loading, longest flight times and best flight performance in its class.
Airframe Design
The airframe of M1 V3 PRO has been completely re-engineered from the ground up to optimize weight wherever possible while retaining incredible durability and flight performance. The frame structure now closely follows the M2 V3 helicopter line, which has proven to be extremely light yet virtually bullet-proof in crashes. A central main plate forms the backbone of the frame and holds the motor, servo rack, new and improved DS2045LW V2 servos, and tail boom, while two sturdy carbon panels provide mounting points for the landing skids, battery, and OFS3+ flight controller. The frame features reinforcement plates in the rear, much like its bigger brothers, redirecting forces in a crash to increase the likelihood of core-components surviving. All screws on M1 V3 PRO have been carefully chosen and exclusively feature 1.3mm and 1.5mm hex heads. No more special tools required, no compromises, you only need two standard size hex drivers to service the entire helicopter.
Rotor Head
As a first in its size class, M1 V3 PRO has a main rotor head built with axial bearings. This measure extends the service life of the blade grip bearings greatly, while offering smoother, more precise control of your blade angles, and therefore, rotor thrust and cyclic torques. Together with a new, more agile rotor geometry, as well as the new APEX 125 rotor blades, this new, black anodized and bead blasted rotor head is ready to propel and guide the M1 V3 PRO through even the hardest 3D flights. At the same time, it allows for incredibly precise and fine control at lower RPMs. Featuring a new rotor geometry optimized for OFS3, M1 V3 PRO allows for more control power than ever before.
Tail Assembly
The tail boom is now made from a hollow carbon fiber tube, increasing durability and reducing weight. The minimalist tail motor mount guarantees crisp and fast yaw response, while serving as a heat-sink for the new R11X-2 tail motor. This motor drives the new APEX 27 tail propeller, which substantially increases tail rotor performance, while reducing noise and improving visibility compared to the previous M1 tail propeller. The propeller hub and tail motor shaft are now rotationally and directionally keyed, so that the risks of tail propeller slippage and reverse-installation are eliminated. The look is finished off by a double-sided printed carbon fiber tail fin, color-matched to the canopy.
Power System
M1 V3 PRO is driven by the newly designed, highly magnetically optimized R23X-2 motor, which is built lighter yet more powerful than its predecessor on M1.
All of this is powered by our new 2S 400mAh 50C LiHV battery, equipped with a brand-new, high power, gold plated GY15 3-pin connector, purpose-built for high-power applications like 3D helicopter flight. Featuring both a smaller footprint and a higher current rating than the previous JST-XH connector, it is built to last and will guarantee a low-resistance connection across countless mating cycles and flights. Connectors are available separately, and a charging cable is included in the box.
With this new power system, M1 V3 PRO features best-in-class flight efficiency and flight times, allowing for 20-30% longer flights in 3D, sports flying and hovering compared to M1.
Flight Control System
This marvel of aerospace engineering is controlled by our industry-leading, universally beloved OFS3+ flight control system with integrated ExpressLRS. Besides that, the OFS3+ can be used with receivers of various protocols:

Featuring everything you have come to know and expect from OFS3+ on the M2 models, M1 V3 PRO is now fully equipped with and ready for prime-time. Full parameter access, firmware updates, smartphone app integration, full telemetry return for various protocols (full for ExpressLRS, CROSSFIRE, Tracer, FrSky/KAVAN F.Port, partial for SRLX2), flight modes for 3D, self-leveling and a fully featured rescue mode, simplified LED setup, battery-indication on the fly, and so much more make M1 V3 PRO the best user experience in its class. Of course, this version of OFS3+ for M1 comes pre-configured and tuned for M1 V3 PRO from the factory, and will receive all the same firmware updates as OFS3+ for M2.
Canopy & Appearance
M1 V3 PRO has received a completely new, sleeker and more aerodynamic canopy shape and adopts the four beautiful paint schemes known from M5, M6 and M7R. Coming in Cosmic Orange, Solar Yellow, Nebula Pink and Aurora Green, this helicopter will have a paint scheme for everyone!
