The Slick 580 Carbon from Phoenix Model is a scale aerobatic model with a 2.20 m wingspan. The model features an extremely lightweight wood/carbon fiber construction and is designed for combustion engines as well as powerful electric motors.

Wood/Carbon Construction with Extremely High Level of Prefabrication
The model features an extremely lightweight and reinforced wood and carbon construction. The laser-cut structure ensures maximum strength with minimal weight. This high level of prefabrication reduces the construction effort to almost nothing more than installing the powertrain and electronics. The large, removable canopy provides ample space for electronics, batteries, or a fuel tank. The Slick is fully covered with film and features a painted fiberglass engine cowling.

Ready for both gas and electric powertrains
The Slick 580 is designed for use with a 60-70cc gas engine. Alternatively, a 6500W brushless outrunner motor can be used in combination with a 12S LiPo system. The interior of the fuselage offers ample space for electronics, a battery, or a fuel tank. The two-piece wing with screw attachment simplifies transport and assembly at the airfield.
