Buyer Beware - for very experienced modellers only. The right up for this kit sounds very impressive, the reality falls very short. As a 71 year old lifetime model maker I have a lot of experience and worked in the toolroom in an aircraft environment for many years Lots of work required to turn the contents of the box into the picture on the outside of the box: - plans are not full size - instructions leave a lot to the imagination - not enough information - instructions inadequate - metal castings are generally of a poor quality and require much fettling and work to produce the finished article - wooden parts aren't individually marked, you have to do this yourself from the inadequate plans - some of the materials supplied are not easily identified and you have to use a lot of ingenuity to fathom out what they are for - the sub assembly views are poorly detailed I have a well equipped workroom with linisher, lathe and lots of other tooling. I've had to adapt and scratch build parts for this model and adapt many of its parts to make them fit. If I hadn't had this I doubt I would have been able to complete this model. I'd hoped paying this price that it would have been a much better quality model.
