This American speed racer from 1929 was entered into the 1930 National Air Races in Chicago where it won 5 of the first 7 races.  This was a midget of a plane, coming in with an overall length of just 17 feet and a wingspan of 20 feet.  But demonstrating the speed of change, even by 1931 obsolescence was already setting in, managing to only secure 6^th position in the Cleveland Air Race 1931.

And if anyone wants to know what DGA stands for – Damned Good Airplane.

This is one of MVM’s signature rapid build models that can be completed in just a few days.

This is a fabulous flying model, with few if any nasty tendencies.  The undercarriage as designed is fixed, so smooth landings are suggested or the plane does have a tendency to bounce.
