The Mitsubishi F-2 is a support jet fighter of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force. This aircraft has a single-seat A type and a double-seat B type. The double seat type is mainly used for education and flight training.
 
On-board weapons are installed in 11 stations including the main wing and fuselage.  Air-to-air missiles, anti-ship missiles (domestic ASM-2, etc.), various bombs and drop tanks can be equipped.
