Part two... My views on this aeroplane have changed. It still flies outstandingly, BUT after replacing the fuselage I have realised a few serious faults. The battery system is REALLY bad. They want taking out to the woodshed for this... it is more or less unfixable. Also, it is potentially dangerous and contrary to BMFA guidelines in that you have to put your hands through the prop to plug in and install the battery. The given motor is ROUGH and noisy, I replaced mine with a Purple. There is stupid high negative decalage on the tailplane, easy to remove. The control tubes to elevator and rudder needlessly are made to double bend causing severe pushrod friction resistance. 'Easy' to improve in a REPLACEMENT fuselage. The firewall mount for the motor is VERY weak, failing in both fuselages. The wheels need angling further forward for grass-field taxiing. As an ARTF it is, sorry to say in my opinion, dreadful. There are too many problems.

April 2015. In my opinion this aircraft is absolutely outstanding. I am a re-learning/beginner and I have found this aircraft very easy to fly with the correct throws and some expo. Take-offs are easy except for a bit of a tail-dragger-normal risk of nosing-over just at first. Flying is smooth, predictable, and very controllable. Rolls and loops all seem easy and reassuring. Landings,.. she will dead-stick in like an angel, in fact power-off might be the best way to land her. The only negative is Battery Insertion, which is fiddly, worryingly occurs over the prop, and, one would have to say, is badly designed: it is a surmountable problem though, with practice. Of the half-dozen aircraft that I have currently flown she is outstandingly my FAVOURITE, I\'m a fan! Already, I am very tempted to get a \'real\' AcroWot (ok, the ARTF version). Well done MR Foss, and the clever Chinese mould-making people.
