The Sinking of the British Ship Titanic owned by the White Star line in April 1912 on her maiden voyage to New York was made most memorable for the shortage of lifeboats.

It was originally designed to have 32 but in fact only sailed with 20 which was enough for only half the passengers and sadly most of these were not full which made the Fatal tragedy much worse.

You can now build a fine scale model of one of these lifeboats with this Artesania Kit.
