These very powerful bow thrusters are delivered fully assembled with a Power 400 electric motor of 7.2 volts. The propulsion is done by a flat propeller (paddle) that presses the water through the jet tubes and the whole therefore functions as a pump. This construction is very strong and stable and requires hardly any maintenance. The pump housing and the extension pipes are made of ABS. The engine is closed with a G-ring and an O-ring that prevents the ingress of water and therefore makes it possible to install the bow thruster both vertically and also horizontally. The motor including the pump housing cover are easy to dismantle. The lid is provided with an O-ring that seals the whole watertight.
